Ed Sullivan On Acid @ 9 PM

Posted on 01 June 2009 by Alex Grubard

I’m doing Ed Sullivan On Acid in Freddy’s Backroom at 9 PM. It’s hosted by the hilarious Pat O’Shea who holds quite a good standing in my respect. He recently came out with a CD (Not Friendly) and he is from Boston, Massachusetts, which does put you in my favor. He also has a great looking headshot and show that has been going strong for over five years.

Also, Transcendentalist Television is this Friday in Brighton, Massachusetts at Castlebar at 9 PM! Can you believe it?! We’ve got Daniel M. Solomon back with the segment Make Me A Movie and our house band is going to be outstanding! Dan and I have a lot of special things planned. Don’t you worry. You don’t have to make any plans except plans to come! Isn’t that perfect? Did I mention that there are really cheap pitchers of beer? And not a ‘Light’ or a ‘Pabst’ but something with a ‘Boc’. Wow.

It’s Not TV… At All!

Posted on 09 March 2009 by Alex Grubard

First show in the books! I’m not going to lie to you and say it was perfect, but I couldn’t be happier with how it went. Thank you so much to everyone that came out! 45 people showed up from all over the world. There were people from Washington DC, from Boston, MA, Concord, MA, Brighton, MA, Jersey City, NJ, Brooklyn, NY, Queens, NY, Manhattan, NY! That’s like more countries than are in the UN, I think. Nearly sold out! I think there were three seats left, but Collin Stabler mentioned he made sure that “those people didn’t show up, because I don’t like them.”

Highlights for the show were Dan and my Manifesto/Quote Fight, John Knefel’s News From The Alternate Reality, The Sockey Commercial Guitarist Aaron Gingrande and Comedian David Cope! I’d like to thank John Knefel, David Cope, Aaron Gingrande, Danny Solomon and Stephanie Garman for coming on our show and all being so fantastic. Also to everyone that worked on the show filming, in any videos and again everyone who came out to enjoy themselves.

What a wonderful time. Our next show is on April 11th at 9:00 at The Yippie Museum. Get ready for it ’cause it’s going to be like pretty cool. Also some videos from the show will be up shortly plus the whole episode some time after that.

I think I speak for Dan as well when I say we feel great. Like about to ascend some sort of mountain. If only I had a picture that would express that.
